Kandis' card
I began with a C5 plain white centura card and matted another piece of the card on but I embossed it using the tumbling leaves A4 embossing folder from crafters companion and using a brush and stormy sky distress ink I distressed the whole embossing.
I then used an edges die on either side of a navy piece of card and put two pieces of white ribbon around that before placing it on my card.
My large flower image is Tulips from Dimension Stamps which has been embossed in cosmic shimmer lapis sapphire lustre and placed onto a spellbinders die. The large flower at the side is from Chloe's Creative Crafts which has also been embossed using the cosmic shimmer lapis embossing powder cut out and layered. These flower stamps are in two sizes and are lovely to stamp with.
All finished off with a spellbinders flourish.
Kathy's card
This card is a 8 x 8 white base card and
the main matt is some lavender patterned paper l found in my stash. I punched out a
broad ribbon out of the same and matt it onto some plain toning paper and wrapped it around.
The two other matts were from some similar coloured paper, which was also layered
onto the same plain paper as before, they were then off-set against each other, wrapping
a ribbon around one and attaching a bow. The Floral stamp is a Kanban design, and was
coloured using my Promarkers, once finished
l used my Spellbinders to cut the shape
and inked the edges with Shades of Lilac distressed ink, also added a text topper using a
smaller die and once again inking the edges with the same coloured ink. A pretty card don't
you think for any occasion.
Sheila's card
My card is 8x8 and I started with a red matt slightly smaller than the base card and I used a punch to round off the corners. I trimmed a piece of white card to fit onto my red matt leaving a small border. I then stamped and coloured my image and placed it onto my card. I cut a nestability shape from white card and matt it onto red and then stamped my sentiment, I finished off by adding pearls.
Sorry no project from Chris this week, she is a little under the weather.
Get well soon Chris x
